Annalena seems nice at first, but don’t be deceived. The air conditioner was broken for four nights. what a thrill! Then there’s the whimsical, noisy setting right by the lobby – truly enhancing the ambiance of sleepless nights. Imagine expecting a plush upgrade for my troubles but receiving, well, nothing. Almost left a glowing review, but alas, I just couldn’t.

My stay was overshadowed by various issues. The room, while quaint, was incredibly dusty and quite lacking in basic amenities like an iron or shower gel. Additionally, the hotel’s old plumbing made for a frustrating experience with the toilet that was finicky and often wet after using the shower.

I had a lovely time relaxing by the cozy fireplace and sipping a hot drink in the charming lounge area during my stay. The room was spacious and bright. I enjoyed some quiet reading in the lovely garden nook. The shower could use a bit of a fix with its low handheld rest, but that didn’t take away from my experience at all. 😊
